Adult Services Meeting of October 11, 2006

Here is a little summary:

We discussed the opening for teen librarian. We now have six applications. I
will do interviews in early November. We are accepting applications until
October 27.

The IPod project is going along, though we have had a free machiner for several
days now. I did statistics and realized our stats are short. Some of the books
I have loaded 2 or 3 times show no checkouts on SWAN. We will work harder to
see that both the IPod and the books get checked out.

The new Konica Minolta printer/copier is now working again. I have now gotten
most of the staff computers connected. A trainer is coming on Friday, October
13 to meet with me, and he will return on October 27 (In Service Day) to work
with everyone.

I need copy for the newsletter by the end of the month.

Nancy urged that we start creating booklists again. That would be good as we
want new content for the website redesign.

Kris is planning to have her writing programs only in the fall in 2007.

Julie has reported that a number of magazines have disappeared from the Reading
Room in the past several months.

I am working on the master password list.

Rick
