Internet Sign-In Sheets
I have put a copy of the Excel document for internet sign-in into "Shared Documents" on the Reference computer. There's also a master copy in the "Internet" file in the file drawer that you can photocopy.

First I found the stapler in the drawer, then the paper clips. Are we changing our policy on keeping these items out for public use?
The 2006 National Geographic issues are now back and bound. You can find them in the last aisle across from the newspapers if anyone is asking. They can be checked out.
I think I remember us saying that we wouldn't scan materials and email them for people due to the time involved. Am I right on this?

I thought we would do scanning if we knew how. I remember Rick showing us how, but of course I haven't done it since.
Scanning's pretty easy (easier than faxing!) and I've done it for a bunch of patrons. Just press the "scan" button on the copier and choose its destination--one of the shared network folders, such as Reference Desk Computer. Open it up and attach it to an email. Voila! If anyone would like me to walk them through this, please let me know!

Congressional Digest used to publish a cumulative index. It is now available online. The web address is http://www.congressionaldigest.com/pcp/pubs/cd/cumindex.html. I will put it in favorites on the magazine desk computer and will add it to the "browse this magazine" site on our web site. You can also find it by googling it.
