A Minolta serviceman was here on Wednesday to clean the toner waste cartridge. The cartridge is supposed to be replaced, but the part has been on backorder for a month or longer. I swa how he did it. He just took it out and held it over a garbage can, opened the little door thing at one end over and over again, and shook the cartridge. He shook out as much as he could get. We should not need the new cartridge for weeks or a month.
He also looked at the feed but could not find anything wrong with it. He thinks staff may have set something on the sensors on the feeding tray, making it think it needed bigger paper. If you notice odd paper behavior, let me know.
