Hinsdale construction is complete and the library is going back to normal hours. We may see a drop in Internet use as we did with the opening of the LaGrange Library.

Here is the message about Hinsdale hours:

The renovation project at Hinsdale Public Library is complete! Beginning Monday, March 10 Hinsdale Public Library’s hours of operation are:

Monday – Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Sunday: 12:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The library will remain open on Sundays throughout the year.

I got all of the magazines bagged and put out at the curb. I took down the sign on the door. If anyone asks, the next deletion of magazines is tentatively scheduled for June. I think we got rid of about 75% of our deleted magazines because we had them available so long due to the weather. I even had people taking them the day I removed the last of them.

I placed a two-disc set from the IRS on the shelf next to the reproducible book. It includes more than just tax forms. The CD will work on the reference desk computer and both the CD and the DVD will work on the Magazine computer.

I would still recommend the IRS website as an easier way to get forms, but the website has been known to go down in those last days before the filing deadline.
