We aren't just a place for Library materials, we are also a place to visit and enjoy in your community. Children love to visit us to listen to a story in our audio listening center, color on a fun page, do a puzzle, pretend play with puppets or even play a computer game. Recent additions to our Department include LeapPad learning systems and books.
We offer a wealth of developmentally appropriate programs for children of all ages. Please visit our Storytimes or Special Events to find the latest Library happenings.
We always have a professional staff on hand to assist you in reference needs, provide reader's advisory services so you can find just the perfect books, help find materials for homework or even just assisting you in using a computer. If at any point you'd like to talk to us, give us a call at 708-246-0520 and ask for the Children's Department. Also, you may reach us by email at youthservices@fordlibrary.org
