Weekly Storytimes

June 16th-August 8th

Registration for summer weekly programs begins on June 9th. Programs begin on June 16th and run for an 8-week session through August 8. All weekly storytimes require registration except for Mix It Up. You can register over the phone for storytimes, but you must be signed up for the general Summer Reading Program by the first day of class. Your booklog will be your “ticket” to any storytime or event this summer. Parents should register their children for programs with a valid Library card.

Mix It Up with Music and Movement

Fridays, 10 a.m.
All Preschool Ages
Drop In

This is a loosey goosey drop-in program for preschool age ranges. We will do a few simple stories, fingerplays, songs, and movement. The emphasis is on moving and grooving with song related activities and toy time. This program is very flexible, as we will work with whatever age groups drop by!

Baby Garden

Mondays, 11:00-11:30 a.m.
Newborn through 12 months

Soft rhymes and bounces will be presented for our littlest ones. Sway and sing as you are introduced to infant rhymes and songs. We will do about 20 minutes of activities and then give the group social time. Siblings may attend as long as they are able to participate in this gentle atmosphere. Minimum 4/Maximum 10.

Mother Goose

Mondays, 10:00-10:30 a.m.
12 to 23 months w/adult

Mother Goose introduces our crawlers and walkers to simple stories, songs, and movement activities. We will feature flannel stories to introduce your child to literature, use puppets, prop stories and sing!

DynoTots

Wednesdays, 10:30-11:00 a.m.
2-3 Years w/adult

Introduce your dynamic tot to the Library with stories, songs, clapping rhymes, and the occasional craft. This is a fun program to encourage interaction and the socialization of toddlers.

Storytime

Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m.
Mature 3 1/2-entering K

This program will use stories, flannels, and brief films to introduce children to language and literature. Please not that is program is for mature 3's to promote enjoyment of the program and the abilitiy to actively participate in crafts.

Nature Watch

Wednesdays, 4 p.m.
Entering 1-3rd grade

Kids are invited to attend a program of stories, activities, hands-on exploration and crafts all designed to explore the natural wonders of our world. A different theme will be explored each week designed to stimulate learning and interest.
