Friday at the Ford is the Library's series of coffeehouse concerts, which, as the name implies, are held on Fridays. This series, supported by the Western Springs Library Friends, began in the fall of 1997 with a performance by Route 66 troubadour David Williams. Since that time, there have been five concerts each year. Most of the concerts can be categorized as folk music, but we also include small setting presentations of barbershop, blues, jazz, and classical music. The concerts are always free of charge, thanks to the Friends, who also provide refreshments. See our Friday at the Ford CD collection for the performers' albums.
Doors open at 7 p.m. Music starts at 7:30 p.m.
