We’re in the process of indexing obituaries and death notices from our two local newspapers, the Suburban Life and the Doings. There are about 5150 obits indexed as of 04/10/2008, and more are added weekly. You can browse by last name, or search for a name. So far, the index covers 2003 to the present. Keep checking back for updates!
Many entries will also include maiden name, date and place of birth, date and place of death, in addition to date and page citation of newspaper.
Thomas Ford Library has the current 3 months of the Suburban Life. Previous dates are available on microfilm. We only have the current 2 years of the Doings. Previous dates may be available on microfilm at your local library.
