Where can I find stock reports at Thomas Ford?

The Library has two great sources of reports on stock-selling corporations. At the Reference Desk, you will the Value Line Investment Survey, which financially describes and rates corporations. On this website, you can find Standard & Poor's Net Advantage, which profiles and rates stocks, bonds, and mutual funds.

Where can I find reports on mutual funds?

Again, the Library has two great resources. At the Reference Desk, you will find Morningstar Mutual Funds, reports with ratings for over 1500 mutual funds. On this website, you can find Standard & Poor's Net Advantage, which profiles and rates mutual funds.

Where can I find old stock prices?

The fastest source that the Reference Staff has found is Big Charts, a website that reports closing prices on select stocks back to 1970. Knowing a date and ticker symbol, anyone can find prices quickly.

If a price is not on Big Charts, we look at our microfilm of the Chicago Tribune, which goes back to 1972. Reference Staff will gladly help you with this task.

Ask the Reference Staff for all older stock prices. We will get them from other libraries for you.
