This summer, the Teen Department's bookclub is Metamorphosis @ Your Library. The word metamorphosis comes from the Greek metamorphous. If you break down that word into two parts, you have "meta," meaning "change," and "morphe" meaning "form." Transform your life this summer with books!
Beginning Monday, June 9th, you may sign up for Metamorphosis @ Your Library at the Checkout Desk. If you sign up during the first week, you will automatically win a prize!
Next, check out some books from the Thomas Ford Library, read them, and fill out a rating form (available by the Teen computer). Drop the rating form into the Metamorphosis Box, and you'll be eligible to receive 1 of 5 weekly prizes! The more books you read, the better your chance of winning a prize! Metamorphosis @ Your Library runs for 8 weeks, ending on Friday, August 1st. Prizes this year include: AMC movie giftcards, Borders Books and Music giftcards, iTunes giftcards, and more! And be sure to check out our Teen Summer Programs!
