Mother/Daughter Craft Night:
Get Lippy with DIY Lip Gloss

Tuesday, March 9, 7 p.m.


Come for a fun girls' night out and fight off those winterchapped lips with us. We'll be making our own lip gloss concoctions with fun and tasty ingredients! See more info on page 2 and sign up at the Reference Desk.

Sink a Great Caddying Job

Thursdays, April 1 & 8, 7 p.m.


Caddying at a golf club can be a rewarding and lucrative summer job for teens that love sports and the out-of-doors. Come learn the ins and outs from a caddying pro on everything from getting your foot in the door to becoming a golfer's most important resource. You're sure to get a leg up on the competition for sought-after job openings. Register at the Reference Desk. Limit 40.

TEEN LAB

Third Friday of each month:
March 19, April 16, May 21 from 4-5 p.m.


The Teen LAB is the Thomas Ford Memorial Library's teen advisory board. If you're in 6th-12th grade, join us and be instrumental in planning teen programs and events, selecting the best books and resources for the Teen Lounge, and offering a much needed perspective on all things library-related! Spring Exam Cram

After school till 10 p.m., May 31-June 2


Open to all High School Students
The end is in sight! Make TFML your study spot for spring finals. Come to study alone or with a group and take advantage of our extended hours on May 31st, June 1st and June 2nd. We'll provide space, snacks, research help and we'll stay open till 10:00 p.m. just for high schoolers! No registration is required, but a valid high school ID is needed for those staying after 9 p.m.

Summer Volunteers Needed


Like working with kids? Interested in a summer opportunity in the cool comfort of the library? If so, we need YOU to help with our Children's Summer Reading Club! Teens finishing grades 6-12 this spring are invited to apply as summer volunteers at the library. You'll help motivate kids to achieve their summer reading goals and share in their excitement as they collect their prizes. You can also get an inside scoop on the library through additional volunteer projects. An application is required and attendance at one of three training sessions is mandatory. After May 1st you may pick up applications and sign up for your preferred training session at the Youth Services Desk. No applications will be accepted after May 26th.
