Program Description
Event Details
In honor of Banned Books Week 2024, we will be reading A Big Mooncake for Little Star by Grace Lin. The Caldecott Honor award-winning book was removed from some schools in Pennsylvania in 2021 for featuring diverse characters. We will celebrate the book by creating beautiful moon art.
Please Note: Parents/caregivers of children 8 years and under are required to stay in the Youth Services Department for the duration of the program per library policy.
