The Hound of the Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle
Free copies of the book will be available starting Monday, June 2nd.
This summer, the Library is inviting the whole community to join Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson as they stalk the fog-shrouded moors of Devonshire on the trail of a spectral beast and a confounding family curse!
The Hound of the Baskervilles is one of the greatest crime novels ever written. It tells the story of an ancient curse: the spectre of a gigantic hound roaming the moors that is said to have haunted the Baskerville family for generations. When Sir Charles Baskerville is found dead, it is up to Holmes and Watson to protect the Baskerville heir and discover the truth. Rationalism is pitted against the supernatural, good against evil, as Holmes seeks to defeat a foe almost his equal.
