Hear stories, sing songs, and have fun with friends! This storytime highlights early literacy skills that prepare children for reading independently. Children attend this storytime without adults so they can practice being independent. 

Whether you are just learning to play Mah Jongg or are ready to try your hand at playing with others, come join our beginners group! Players will be sorted by self-ranked skill level and questions are welcome.

This event can be attended virtually through Zoom or in-person at the Schaumburg Township District Library Central branch.

Families of LEGO enthusiasts are invited to join us each month to practice and learn LEGO building techniques. Using teamwork and your imagination, build a creation that will be on display in the Youth Services Department for one month.

Children in grades Kindergarten through 4th Grade are invited to register for 10-minutes of reading with our new therapy dog partner, Gracie. This program is done in partnership with St. John’s Lutheran Church in La Grange.
