One of the library's e-book platforms, eRead Illinois, has transitioned to a new app, The Palace Project. eRead Illinois is a cooperative program that expands access to e-books for Illinois residents. Previously, e-books and digital audiobooks checked out through eRead Illinois used the Boundless app, which was discontinued in October. Thomas Ford cardholders can now download The Palace Project app on their mobile device (iOS and Android) in order to access books available through eRead Illinois.
When first installing the Palace Project app, you will select Thomas Ford Memorial Library as your library. The first time you select an item to borrow, you will log in with your library card number and PIN. You can also enter or change this information in your Settings.
Holds that were placed on the Boundless app will not transfer to Palace Project, so you will need to place those holds once again.
