Come meet Pippin the therapy dog and read some great books about dogs! Teen Board members will be on hand to read to kids in Pre-K to 1st grade. 

Have a writing itch? The Western Springs Writers' Society welcomes all writers from the community to discuss and hone their craft with other local writers. Whether this is your career or hobby, writers of all levels and genres are invited.

Help your baby grow up to love books! Caregivers and little ones share stories, songs, and rhymes in this lapsit program. Introduce them to a lifetime of reading and language enjoyment.

Children in grades Kindergarten through 4th Grade are invited to register for 10 minutes of reading with our new therapy dog partner, Gracie. This program is done in partnership with St. John’s Lutheran Church in La Grange.

Join D&D master, Steve Hurovitz, for a fun introduction to this role-playing game. Learn about its history, game basics and how to quickly start exploring new worlds and battling monsters.

The Marlow Murder Club by Robert Thorogood 

Join an expert birder for a spring migration bird walk at Bemis Woods! Springtime is most birders' favorite time of year in the Chicago area, as breeding birds are singing and migrating birds are pouring through.

Join us to learn how you can make your community safer for migrating birds. We'll create some bird-inspired art and you'll get a window decal kit to take home.

Bring your ideas and imagination to the Library to create a LEGO model! The Library will provide LEGO bricks for this program.

Come welcome our new Youth Services mascot, Oakley the Squirrel! We’ll celebrate Oakely’s arrival with a party full of fun games and crafts. 

Come join our Mah Jongg group for a relaxed setting to play, knowledge of the game or prior experience required. Players will be sorted by self-ranked skill level and questions are welcome.

This is a virtual class led by Kristyn Slick. A recording will be emailed to all registrants after the program. Even if you are unable to attend the live event, please register if you would like to receive the recording.

Bring your own book (or choose  a gently used one at the program), and learn to bedazzle the cover! Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring any diamond painting supplies from home if desired.
