Hear stories, sing songs, and have fun with friends! This storytime highlights early literacy skills that prepare children for reading independently. Children attend this storytime without adults so they can practice being independent.

Families of LEGO enthusiasts are invited to join us each month to practice and learn LEGO building techniques. Using teamwork and your imagination, build a creation that will be on display in the Youth Services Department for one month.

Beginning or independent readers love to practice reading aloud to one of the pets from Hinsdale Humane Society’s Therapaws Program because it’s pressure-free! Each child will have a 10-minute time slot between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.
