Come, listen to a reading of Kenard Pak’s Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring. Afterwards, we will complete a paper plate spring craft to take home.

Come learn about the birds of our great state. Make your own binoculars, then go on a bird-watching adventure to find the Illinois birds nesting in the Youth Services Department.

We’ll share the story Hope in a Jar by Deborah Marcero and decorate our own hope jars to take home.

Add some springtime color and sparkle outside your window with a handmade beaded windchime. Snacks will be provided.

Bring your favorite stuffed animal and come listen to a reading of Mark Sperring’s book Daddy Lion’s Tea Party. Afterwards, we will make a zoo animal craft to take home.

We’ll build our own craft stick catapults and compare how far we can fling different objects.
